Founded in Lyon in 1979, the Académie de Ballet Nini Theilade is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year. This internationally renowned school specializes in classical dance, but all dances are important to it: modern jazz, contemporary, character, baroque... Supervised at all levels by caring, state-certified teachers, children and adults alike thrive in every discipline. Registration opens in May. Possibility of dance-study from ^6th to 12th grade. International workshop every summer and not-to-be-missed show at the Bourse du Travail.

Takamouv in Lyon is a magnet for fans of urban dances such as Freestyle, Popping, B.Boying (break dance), Top Rock and Locking. In addition to dance classes, Takamouv offers a series of enriching events: workshops led by renowned dancers, vacation courses for children, artistic evenings dedicated to young Lyonnais talent and the famous Hip Hop Rally Of Culture festival. This diversity of activities makes it a popular gathering place for the hip-hop community in Lyon and beyond.

Center de Danse Brunerie also offers room rental and welcomes residents.
