L'amphithéâtre - Cité Internationale is an exceptional venue located in the heart of Lyon's Cité Internationale. It is part of the Lyon Convention Center, which can accommodate up to 19,000 people in all its spaces and rooms. The amphitheater itself can accommodate up to 3,000 people in a seated configuration, or 4,500 in a mixed configuration (seated/standing). It was designed by architect Renzo Piano, inspired by Gallo-Roman amphitheaters. The stage is open onto a large esplanade, allowing a wide variety of configurations for events such as corporate presentations, theater performances, concerts and more. The Convention Center also offers 8,400 m2 of exhibition space, which can accommodate up to 7,000 people for cocktails, for example. The venue is easily accessible by train, with Part-Dieu station nearby, and by numerous buses serving the site.
