This wine-growing estate with buildings dating from the 17th century and a 12th century Romanesque chapel is a magnificent site covering 10 hectares of gamay, pinot noir and chardonnay. Three English couples have taken the destiny of the place in hand, with the aim of restoring its authenticity. One of these couples, David and Christine, manages the estate on a daily basis. The only concession to modernism is the new vinification building, which houses the vats, the press and the control laboratory. As for the harvest, it is still carried out manually. The wines are obtained by macerating and crushing the whole grapes, progressive pressing and natural fermentation. The result is convivial and can be tasted in all circumstances, accompanying the various dishes of a meal. The estate's Beaujolais-Villages is pleasant to drink young but can also age elegantly. To extend your stay, a gîte and a guest room are available on site, fitted out with care and comfort. On the garden side, the infinity swimming pool alone is worth the detour. A very beautiful étape !
