Restaurant in the heart of a quiet and restful place in Joux.
A native of Tarare and a pupil of Bocuse, André Chouvin traveled extensively before returning to his homeland to share with us, in this soothing setting, a gastronomic cuisine patiently matured and thought through. On the aptly-named Place du Plaisir, in the shade of the linden tree that gives the house its name, the chef happily blends the traditions of great French cuisine, respect for good local produce and creative modern touches. A real success story. A wine list that gives pride of place to local wines. Rooms to prolong the pleasure.
