Located on the Corbas airfield, south of Lyon, the Clément Ader Aviation Museum is a must-see for aviation enthusiasts. Managed by the Espaces Aéro Lyon-Corbas association, the museum features a rich collection of aircraft, engines and aeronautical equipment, representing over 100 years of French aviation, from 1908 to the present day. Visitors can take advantage of guided tours to discover these aeronautical treasures. The guides, all volunteers and enthusiasts, know how to captivate adults and children alike. A special feature of the museum is the opportunity to climb into the cockpit of a fighter plane, such as a Jaguar or Mirage. Last admissions are at 3.30pm in winter and 4.30pm in summer. The museum also has free parking and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. A not-to-be-missed experience for aviation enthusiasts.
