If ostriches run fast, the ostrich is not a common animal in our regions. Père Louis is an ostrich farm, more than a hundred, and an educational farm since 2018. A family breeding since it is the granddaughter of Father Louis who welcomes us to the farm to make us discover the world of ostriches and many other farm animals. Visits by appointment only. Wednesdays and Saturdays outside school vacations. Tuesday to Saturday during school vacations. Prices: €8/adult, €7/children and free for children under 3.

Located in Vézeronce-Curtin, just 200 meters from Morestel, the Père Louis ostrich farm invites you to a unique experience. Immerse yourself in the heart of their educational farm and discover the fascinating animals that reside there. Whether you're a group of 15 or more , or a school class or leisure center, a full tour awaits you. Larger groups will have the opportunity to sample ostrich products, adding a taste dimension to the exploration. In addition to breeding, the estate also houses a boutique brimming with ostrich delicacies. From pavé and filet to roast and sautéed ostrich, you'll find an array of tasty meats. The store also offers sausages, terrines, liver mousses, eggs and even plumes. A true culinary experience awaits you, allowing you to take home some of this avian delicacy.
