If beer is fashionable, Grenoble has a long tradition of brewing, and this is where the Brasserie du Dauphiné comes into its own. Vincent Gachet created Brasserie du Dauphiné over 20 years ago to perpetuate the passion passed down by his grandparents, who worked at the Frise brewery. Using a name famous throughout the Dauphiné, Mandrin, he produces exceptional beers, notably using local produce such as Dauphiné walnuts and water from the Grenoble region! Enjoy Mandrin with walnuts, fir, hemp, Chartreuse plants and honey... Organic beers, seasonal beers, Face Nord beers, a house brand for refreshment, and Nobow, creative beers.

When some say organic, Satoriz has been saying organic for over 40 years. A committed organic superstore located in the south business park (easy access via the south bypass, exit 4) in Saint-Martin-d'Hères. All the basics in an airy space: fresh produce, drinks, oils, bread, cereals and dried fruit in bulk, cleaning products, bookshop, beauty and well-being. Plenty of fruit and vegetables, no cheaper than elsewhere, but very fresh, which is rare in this kind of store. A small in-house periodical provides tips, recipes and product information. A good address complemented by two other stores in Echirolles and Grenoble. Click&collect available.

Let's head for Eybens and Saint-Martin-d'Hères, with two urban mushroom farms developed by Hamid, an agronomist, and Maxime, a graduate of Grenoble Ecole de Management, the creators of Champiloop. It's a project with great values for people and nature, bringing producers and consumers together in the heart of the city. A project that allows us to enjoy organic oyster mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms, with many delicious recipes on the website. You can even take part in an introductory workshop on home-grown mushroom production. Urban agriculture becomes reality.

LA FERME DES MAQUIS

Regional grocery cheese and cream shops

Built in 2013 - on the dry hillsides of the Balcons de Belledonne - with the aim of preserving the surrounding flora and fauna, this farm is run by Céline, François and Anna, who raise their goats in accordance with the values of organic farming. In season - from early February to late November - they make a variety of cheeses and faisselles that you can buy directly from their store or find at the markets. They also welcome schoolchildren to teach them about farm work and organic farming.
