LA TIVOLLIÈRE
A successful marriage between past and present, classicism and contemporary creativity, La Tivollière is one of our favourite addresses. For the classic, everything starts with a magnificent 14th century castle set on its green setting facing the Vercors mountains. For modernity, it was in 1986 that the Serve family - Christine, the sister, and Jean-Yves, the brother, the 6th generation of restaurateurs - brought this place up to date, thus offering it a breath that has never ceased to inspire the owners. The restaurant is housed in the magnificent weapons room, which takes on colour, thanks in particular to the exhibitions it hosts on its walls. From the sunny days, the terrace allows you to contemplate the spectacle of nature while enjoying the pleasures of a table run by Christine Serve, a master restaurateur who is dedicated to perpetuating the best of tradition while diverting it each season thanks to her perfect mastery of cooking or harmony in an always creative spirit. Thus, classicism and modernity merge to present us with dishes that are balanced (highlighted for optimal nutritional balance) and tasty on a seasonal menu. Superb wine list. Two rooms (30 people each) adapted to organize weddings, baptisms and other family or professional meetings.

Le menu à une question (poisson ou viande) nous surprend toujours, le chef est toujours à la recherche d'originalité ( dessert accompagné d'une glace au basilic, au thé fumé .....kir royal à la violette mais ça change tout le temps) C'est original et bon. L'accueil est très sympathique. Une salle voûtée délicieuse, une terrasse avec vue sur le Vercors l'été à tomber: romantiques foncés ! Bref, on adore. Et un rapport qualité prix que je trouve très bien.

The meal (sweet flavours savoury) is delicious, refined cuisine and successful.
Peti flat: For dessert (feastday of mothers) which is not the higher than the meal. Too bad.
