This castle is an exceptional ensemble typical of 18th century Dauphiné architecture.
Exceptional ensemble typical of 18th century Dauphiné architecture. Like an "island in the countryside", the castle is accessible by a drawbridge over the moat. To admire: its roofs with large slopes, its chapel and its secrets, its large staircases, its unique decoration whose furniture and woodwork are signed by the cabinetmakers Hache of Grenoble and the office of Mr. de Longpra, adviser to the Parliament of Dauphiné in the 18th century. From its superb gardens, one can admire almost the entire Ainan valley.
