Originally a military observatory in the early Middle Ages, Barbarin became an elegant Renaissance château that was home to Marie de Roussillon. The vast landscaped grounds, the gypsum-tiled salon, the kitchen, the monumental fireplace, the murals and the French ceilings are all well worth a visit. The château also offers bed and breakfast accommodation in an exceptional setting.
