An activity that's right up there with the times, and right up there with it, as you traverse the courses, soaring through the air from tree to tree. The Parc Acrobatique Forestier Indian Forest Chartreuse, with 15 courses, offers more than 150 workshops, with over 1 km of zip lines or a gigantic Tarzan jump. From the age of 2 upwards, you can move through the trees on specially-adapted courses: the "Little Indians" course for 2-4 year-olds, a continuous lifeline (self-insured course) for 4-6 year-olds and evolving courses for older children and adults, up to hyper-sporty courses such as the 25-meter-high "Super Noire". Reservations are recommended. On-site picnic area and marquee for a day among the earth and trees.

The Grande Traversée des Alpes (GTA) is a hiking trail that reveals the French Alps in all their splendor. Over 600 km, from Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean Sea, you'll cross spectacular landscapes, from the Chablais to the Mercantour, via the Beaufortain, Queyras and Haute-Ubaye. The GTA offers an itinerary to suit all tastes and abilities. You can cover the whole trail in 40 stages, or choose short sections. You can walk or run, follow the historic route or not, set off on your own or sleep in gîtes.
