j'ai passe quelque jours a l'hotel quand il etait privatise c'etait incroyable. a part la vue d'un telecabine devant les fenetres tout etait parfais.

Excellent location next to the ALPE express ..
Service in the residence was good especially the shuttle pick / drop from any location in alp d huez
Staff are super friendly
Rooms are a bit small and not a fan of separate wc with no wash hand basin.

Très bon établissement. L'accueil est parfait. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal avec un chauffeur à disposition pour les clients de l’hôtel souhaitant se déplacer dans la station de l’Alpe d’Huez.

J'y suis allée pour l'espace spa. Dès l'accueil on est immergé dans un moment calme. L'espace pour se changer et se doucher est spacieux. Le spa en lui-même est constitué d'un bassin pour nager, d'un jacuzzi vu neige / remontée mécaniques, d'un sauna, d'un hammam et d'une salle de relaxation iodée par un mur de sel d'Himalaya.
Par contre l'espace est résonant, le moindre bruit de téléphone est entendu dans tout l'espace, mais ça c'est un problème d'humain... Le lieu n'en est pas moins agréable.

Nous avons passé, avec mon fils de 20 ans, une semaine absolument fantastique à l’hôtel Daria-I-Nor à l’Alpe d’Huez, et je ne peux que le recommander chaleureusement ! Tout était parfait, du début à la fin. L’accueil du personnel était exceptionnel : souriant, attentionné et toujours prêt à rendre service. La chambre était d’un confort irréprochable, impeccablement propre, avec une décoration soignée et une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Le service était au top, que ce soit au restaurant, où les plats étaient délicieux, ou pour toutes les petites attentions qui font la différence. L’ambiance générale de l’hôtel est à la fois élégante et conviviale, idéale pour se détendre après une journée sur les pistes. Un séjour inoubliable, je reviendrai sans hésiter.

Great hotel, this is our 3rd year staying there. Service was very friendly and efficient on the whole and we felt very welcomed. Only hiccup was very slow service in the bar which could easily be improved.
Restaurant is fabulous for breakfast - brilliant buffet plus a la carte options. However it didn’t work as well for dinner. There are 3 different dining rooms, some with better ambiance than others, however there didn’t appear to be any choice in which room you were sat. When we first stayed here 3 years ago, the "best" dining room was used as a separate restaurant (Amethyst) witb a different menu and we preferred having that available as an alternative option. Perhaps a feature of the apparent move towards hosting more British package holidaymakers than independent visitors? The half board dinner felt a bit limited - we would have preferred an alternative casual option rather than the a 5 course menu each day. The bar food was good but sadly not included in half board. Also the fondue was very disappointing - tasted more like a runny béchamel sauce than proper cheese. All these things are easily fixable so hopefully management will take note.
All that said, this is a fantastic hotel - really high quality and good value for money. Swimming pool/spa area is lovely although better suited to adults than children (fine by us!). The location is brilliant - literally steps from the gondola - and the boot room staff are fabulous, handing us our skis each morning - real 5* service.
We will almost certainly return, but are just hoping that the few niggles will be addressed.

Fantastic stay!
Enjoyed a full week in February 2025, as a family with a young baby.
Everything was top notch: large and modern rooms, facilities, location, staff, breakfast and food in the evening at their restaurant.
Will definitely return in the future.

La qualité de prestation est au rdv des 5 étoiles .
Tout le personnel est aux petits soins pour vous . Vous posez une question, il y a jamais de réponse négative ! Toujours une solution à vos demandes
Si je commence par le spa nous avons toujours été reçu avec le sourire, top les hôtesses. toujours aux petits soins pour vos serviettes, claquettes et rafraîchissement.
Nous avons également fait un massage et c’était vraiment top à trois en famille
Les chambres sont bien entretenue et le personnel toujours aux petits soins pour le service de chambre.( 2 fois par jour )
Le restaurant top bonne qualité toujours des serveurs aux petits soins et sans oublié de bon cuisinier derrière tout cela .
La réception , rien à dire , souriant et à l écoute
Les voituriers , vous déposent et vous reprennent dans la ville de 8h à 23h ! Top ! Et toujours avec le sourire !

During my recent stay at Daria-l Nor hotel for 8 nights in late January/February for skiing, I was impressed by the spacious standard room which included a hallway/boot room, toilet, bathroom, and a bedroom with a generously-sized walk-in wardrobe.
The convenience of having a ski shop within the hotel made storing and retrieving ski equipment hassle-free, thanks to the helpful and friendly staff. The gondola located just 5 meters outside the ski shop provided easy access to the slopes, allowing for quick trips back to the hotel for lunch.
The hotel bar with a cozy atmosphere and natural fire was a perfect place to unwind in the evenings, although the drinks were a bit pricey. However, the skilled bar staff made up for it with their fantastic cocktail-making skills.
The restaurant and bar offered generous portion sizes, with items like the club sandwich and fondue being large enough to share between two people. The breakfast spread was enjoyable, particularly the white sourdough baguette and chocolate madeleines that were not to be missed.
While the spa area was adequate for relaxation after a day of skiing, it was the overall experience at Daria-l Nor that truly made my time in Alpe D'Huez memorable. The attentive breakfast staff, convenient ski facilities, and comfortable accommodations all contributed to a fantastic stay, and I am already considering a return visit next year.

We stayed in the apartment side of the hotel for a week in January and we would highly recommended (booked with crystal ski). We were picked up from the drop off point in a private taxi and our room was ready early. Although it’s not 5* (I’d say 4*) everything was just what we wanted. The location was perfect, views from the balcony were superb, a 2 minute walk to the gondola, heated boot room, hot shower every day when we returned from a days skiing, access to spa facilities, towels, linen and robes, welcome pack of food to start the holiday and the staff were very accommodating. We were woken at 6am by snow being cleared from the roadway to the apartment but this is expected when you are staying in resort. Although we didn’t use the bar and restaurant it is very expensive so would recommend walking into town for a drink instead. We would be returning back here again and would recommend to friends.

Tout a été absolument parfait. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très bien équipées. Le buffet de petit déjeuner est fabuleux. Et le service est plus que parfait. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été pris en charge, Notre voiture a été garée dans le garage, les bagages récupérés et montés en chambre. Les skis et chaussures de ski emmenés au ski room (et identifiés avec notre numéro de chambre). Les housses ont été stockées à la bagagerie. L'hôtel est idéalement situé, à 5m à pieds, à plat des oeufs qui emmènent aux remontées. Tous les soirs une petite attention sucrée quand le personnel passe pour vérifier si nous avons besoin de quelque chose (eau, etc.). Et le check-out très rapide et toujours une petite attention: eau + biscuit pour le voyage de retour. Les bagages et les skis nous sont ramenés ainsi que notre voiture. Un réel plaisir. Je recommande ) 100%.

Rien à dire sur l’hôtel , chambre nikel , bien accueilli , bien situé géographiquement .
Je vous invite à faire un tour au spa car le massage est l’un des plus apreciables Que j’ai fais , merci à Leonie la masseuse et Margaux pour l’accueil . Bonne expérience

Une véritable escroquerie où le niveau des prestations est très bas
Le restaurant se rapproche plus d'une cafétéria insipide, l'accueil reste agréable même si nous cherchons encore le Directeur, au bout d'une semaine
La station en elle-même est très agréable, de belles activités et les profs de ski très sympa
L'année prochaine, nous revenons mais Airbnb
