Restaurant renowned for its brunch with organic fruit juice on weekends in Grenoble.

We haven't counted the years, at least fifteen, but this long-hours address with its terrace on the pedestrian plateau has found its place in the Grenoble landscape. From breakfast, with its wide range of formulas, to brunch and afternoon tea, Pain & Cie has focused on its simple welcome, authentic decor and quality products. An old-fashioned tiled room, wooden tables, a warm atmosphere for enjoying a good cup of coffee and pastries. On the slate, daily specials and specialties such as duck breast with honey sauce or salmon tartar. For a snack, fruit juices, waffles and home-made pastries. A sure bet.

45 minutes d’attente avant d’être servis. Dès formule peu attirante, une quantité peu généreuse, ex : viennoiseries (pain au chocolat, croissant, tartine) mais en réalité il fait en choisir qu’une. Dans ce cas là mettre : (pain au chocolat OU croissant OU tartine ) ! Pour un brunch "sucré salée" pas de toast, pas de pancakes, pas de plats...à part deux tranche de saucisson et un œufs à la coque. Et pour finir le tour, la serveuse a oublié la moitié de la commande, rien était servis ensemble.

Cheerful atmosphere!
The restaurant is closed in the evening, and what a pity! Their savoury slices of bread are copious, a delight!
