Russian cuisine and folk evenings in a restaurant in Grenoble.

Kalinka, the name is an invitation to song and dance, right? It is also a gourmet embassy of Russia in Grenoble. More precisely from the Caucasus, even if it's a whole country to savour in our plates. With its sunny terrace and its room reminiscent of Anna and Emile's origins, the Kalinka has many assets. Lunch is not necessarily Russian, but in the evening... Authenticity with a shuba salad or a famous borscht soup, followed by a plate of Siberian pelmeni (small delicious ravioli), to finish with a kissel, a sweet Russian soup with red fruits and apple. Russian coffee with vodka. Folklore evenings for a total immersion.

The setting is bath, beautiful decor very original, the waiter which is also I think the owner is super nice, very attentive and patient explain each dish. It had told us that it was hearty indicator that you ordered many dishes, it had not lied! it is not expensive and it is delicious, heaps of different flavours put in wakes up your tastebuds. A delicious beef stroganoff, splendid hummus, vine leaves, caviar rolled...

Very good typical Russian restaurant with decor. Very friendly welcome and small slave accent case you immediately in the atmosphere. Take the time to explain the dishes and drinks. Dishes cooked by dad of Russian and Armenian origin are delicious melting and authentic!

In short... I strongly recommend it!
