What's not to love about Italia Uno? There's a gourmet "dolce vita" atmosphere in the Comboire shopping zone, when you can savour all the goodies on sale on the spot, starting with the incredible fruit and vegetables that arrive direct, as well as exceptional cheeses such as the marvellous mozzarella di bufala, and fresh sausages.... There's something for every taste in every season: cold cuts, antipasti, pasta, sauces... A sunny selection to fill our basket. Don't hesitate to order your platters and book your catering services. To enjoy the "dolce vita in casa", Italian ice creams in summer and on-site catering.

Mixed feelings. ????
Italia Uno definitely knows its stuff when it comes to the food they offer. However, it’s always super busy, which I don’t love. The restaurant is also a food store, and this combination leads to a chaotic atmosphere. People browsing the shelves are constantly dodging those eating, and the noise from the diners doesn’t help either. ???? It’s the kind of organization you often see in Italy, but it’s just not my style.
The prices are also on the higher side, even for Grenoble, which was a bit off-putting. ???? That said, they are the only place I found that offers olio non filtrato (unfiltered olive oil), so that was a plus. ????
Location-wise, it's a bit of a headache. At low traffic hours, it’s easy to get in and out by car, but during rush hour, you can easily get trapped in traffic. ???? And let’s not even talk about the parking situation—few spots and all without any shade. ☀️
So, while I’m torn, I think I’ll return for that olive oil. But overall, it’s not my favorite.
