Follow us to Creys-Mépieu, village north of Morestel, near the Rhone, to discover a beautiful address last year by Loïc Normand. Here, we forget all his local concerns to share true moments of pleasure. The chef, spent by beautiful gastronomic houses in France and abroad (Switzerland, Canada, Luxembourg) offers traditional cuisine "revisited" to its sauce. A kitchen perfectly made with fresh products, especially noble products. Delicious specialties are to be ordered 2 or 3 days in advance (to be savoured on or off): fresh grenouilles frogs, a chef's fish and shellfish - a treat - a cassoulet of the Mère mother, a crayfish chicken, a crisp of veal, a sauce sauce… The map is no less greedy with, on the Chantegrit menu, a duck bowl in the house foie gras and its figues compote, balsamic raisinet; to follow, a candied lamb mouse with fresh spices and fresh thyme, served with a pick potato; to finish with particularly successful homemade desserts, such as coconut panna and grout of exotic fruits.
