When you take Uriage at the second roundabout, the direction of Chamrousse by Roche-Béranger 1750, the road rises quickly on the wooded slopes of Belledonne. In winter, hiking skis can be worn out of the beaten trails on either of the forest roads. There, no traces, if not those of his predecessors, and beautiful climbs in the forest. The Arselle Plateau (open from 9:00 a. m. to 4:30 p. m.) for fans of alternative and skating is crossed by some 40 km of marked trails drawn across the forest (14 slopes: 2 black, 3 red, 3 blue, 6 green). The Arselle Plateau is actually a meadow that makes it possible to make beautiful loops and a few incursions into the forest, especially with the Astragale black trail.
