Un soir en famille au bord du lac Léman
Accueil chaleureux et souriant.
Les plats sont très gouteux. Excellents.
Sur la terrasse avec une vue sur le lac leman.
A faire et à refaire pour venir déguster tous les plats de la carte.

Quel agréable souvenir que ce repas de midi à la Vieille Porte ! Cadre extérieur superbe avec vue sur le lac Léman. Terrasse bien ombragée, tables suffisamment éloignées, et surtout, menu à 26 € digne d'un grand restaurant ! Le service a été très rapide, assuré par des serveuses parlant plusieurs langues, souriantes et efficaces, les plats super bien présentés et surtout délicieux ! Nous avons passé un très agréable moment dans ce restaurant que nous ne sommes pas prêts d'oublier, surtout dans cette très jolie ville médiévale.

ce restaurant est notre cantine de l'été. le fils a repris l'affaire et le personnel est très aimable et serviable. cuisine raffinée mais simple. le décor est superbe à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur du restaurant. la carte est changée régulièrment . le cuisinier est un vrai cuisinier dans la maison depuis 3 ans maintenant et fidèle au patron et à sa cuisine toujours revisitée.
What a disappointment! We return regularly friends. The last visit, the 27aug11, was a chess: for a 40.00 Euro p.p hardly good cuisine, cold served fish although reported that the ovens had been placed prematurely (20 minutes before the service), fillets too grasse perch, tasteless lemon sauce, the medallion with flavour (according to the waiter) because the country slice of bacon absent, was fried in extreme cases of consumable and courronner: crenellated crockery (ramekins/bowls for ice, cups, saucers) and often odd. Dixit normal - the boys - we are at the end of the season. While the restaurant is open all year round.

Thus:
- deplorable cuisine
- service... which service?
- broken crockery
- the guest (?)

In short, I advise you to quickly remove your panel recommendation at this restaurant does not deserve it especially.
disappointed! An owner limitede friendly... a dash of Will Make archi cooked accompanied by good vegetables left water, elks of perch drowned in a butter burnt! and to finish a dessert with defrosted right fruits (you know the sachet 5 red fruit blends that could buy DS a large enseigne¨!) And everything for a considerable stay... In Short, next to the beautiful village of Yvoire, I will rayerai this restaurant my list...
The first menu is a €26, which with is not made of all. But once inside, the beautifully appointed old residence, exposed beams, paisibility, the discretion of service make do not regret your choice. The dishes are well presented, copious (rare in this type of restaurant) and very good. Flavours are local and pleasant. To spend good Sunday!
