Why not pick up your bread at the hotel? Ô Bon Pain is an authentic bakery located in the 4-star Le Pélican hotel. With its own entrance, it's a delight for locals and visitors to the hotel on their way to Sevrier. Good breads, from the breakfast ficelle to the many special breads - petit épeautre pie, pavé, montagnard, hazelnut and cranberry bread... -for a real treat. Viennoiseries, sandwiches and pastries, as well as seasonal specialities (soup, galettes des rois, bugnes, Easter eggs...) to eat in or take away. You'll also find local grocery products.

I don't want to undervalue the hard work of the bakers because of one unfriendly female employee.
It's understandable that young lady wouldn't want to work on a Sunday morning.

I’m staying next door, we didn’t expect much, since it’s in a hotel, but it’s actually pretty damn good and the staff has gone out of their way to respect my pitiful French, usually they’ll go straight to English. Anyway the baguettes are great, the sandwiches aren’t what looked appealing to me (as an American), but pack a very good flavor. Definitely worth giving it them you’re business.
