Once you've tasted Aristide's breads, viennoiseries, brioches and joie de vivre, there's no turning back (and you risk falling into the Thiou...). A bakery that declares itself to be "atypical", but that goes back to what has always been the hallmark of authentic breads: "flour, water, salt and time". Don't look for baguettes, but treat yourself to an Aristide, a long-fermented (24h) farmhouse bread made with wheat and rye flours, rye sourdough, salt and water. Only real wholemeal bread by the slice, for pleasures to share. You can multiply these pleasures with our brioches, cookies and panettones... 100% organic and as local as possible.

Had a croissant, almond croissant, and a pain de chocolate. INCREDIBLE. SO YUMMY!! There was a line (obviously because it’s a great bakery) but we got through pretty fast, maybe 6 mins? Easy and yummy.

The croissant is sooo good!!! It’s crispy on the outside with so many flaky layers and soft on the inside. Something that makes this croissant special is the taste. There’s a subtle sweetness and I think they added something to the flour which makes it taste different?? I can’t discern the taste but I love it. I also tried a slice of their bread which was sourdough and lovely.
