It is at the Lake of Annecy Lake Fisheries and Protection Association (APPMA) that fishing on this lake is so transparent that fish can be seen. The general opening of fisheries takes place from January 1 to November 30 except for some specific species (the most sought-after ones): salmonids from January 28 to October 15 and pike from January 1 to February 29 and from May 8 to November 30.
