And you thought the hippopotamus had kicked the Romans out of a kick? Smart informs you that Hippopotamus is owned by the same group as the Roman Bistro, Groupe Flo. Group side on the stock exchange, to which the Master Kanter teaches. In short, we are in what it has agreed to call "commercial catering for table". Of course, just a few steps from the Pâquier and the lake, at the entrance to the old town, the situation is ideal and the interior area is perfectly renovated. But once the appearances are over, what are we seeing? That the service is not always the most smiling or the most efficient. The meat'charolaises'is little tasty and not always well cooked. That the formulas are not even more economical than elsewhere. So the formula from midday to 11,90 € offers only a dish and a drink, when you can find better -entry, flat and dessert- and better in town in many other real restaurants one or two euros close! Besides the excellent dishes of the day around 10 €… In short, a "novelty" to avoid discovering the authentic Smart addresses.
