Perched at an altitude of 1,000 meters in the heart of the Alps at the foot of Mont-Blanc, the Chamonix Golf Club offers a spectacular setting from hole 17, where the north face of Mont-Blanc is revealed, dominated by the seracs of the Bossons glacier. Carved out of a beautiful valley, the 18-hole PAR 72 course, some 6,077 metres long and designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr, subtly blends technical challenges (bunkers, water obstacles) with accessible fairways. The 32-station driving range (14 covered), two putting greens and pitching green offer a complete training environment.

They got me out right away with a rental set. The fees were reasonable.
The course was a bit soggy, but clearly had been well maintained. There are a couple of nice holes with elevated tee boxes.
