Rude Staff

Staff member playing on hole ahead of me picked up my ball, saying it was a range ball, put it in his pocket and was angry with me.

He may have been correct that it was a range ball, I’d found it on the hole before and it looked substantially like my own ball, but bad golf balls are 8 Euros for a sleeve so I took all the help I can get.

Wildly unprofessional to pick up another players ball and pocket it. A warning…fine, but what he did was very rude.

De passage à Chamonix le samedi 3 mai 2025 et par ailleurs golfeurs partout où nous voyageons, nous faisons une pause café à ce club house: nous croisons 3 ou 4 employés dont AUCUN de nous dit bonjour! Il y a un mariage, ils sont donc très occupés mais un "Bonjour" prend 1 seconde!! Malgré tout nous nous installons en terrasse: 3€ le café et 6€ le Coca ça fait cher pour n'avoir eu ni "Bonjour" - ni "Au revoir" et aucun "Merci"

Une critique sur le parcours de la part d’un golfeur qui joue partout où il voyage.

-Facilités/Service : 5/5 beau Practice, superbe pro shop et beau vestiaire très propre.
-Qualité Prix: 4/5. Charger 9€ pour un vieux Pull Cart, c’est un vrai vol! Un panier de balles fourni comme à Evian serait apprécié
-Rythme de jeu : 5/5
-Design et conditions de jeu : 4/5.
POINTS forts : Panorama extraordinaire, ambiance chalet, qualité des fairways (mis à part les endroits complètement détrempés), belle exploitation des ruisseaux et rivières traversants le parcours, trappes de sable très bien entretenues.
POINTS à améliorer : tertres de départ manque de gazon et ne sont pas au niveau. Il y a même 2 tertres sur tapis. Les green relativement en bonnes condition mais trop petits. Le drainage est à désiré à plusieurs endroits. J’aurais pu ignorer ce point étant donné les pluies fréquentes des derniers jours mais c’était le même problème l’an passé lors de ma visite. Ça semble récurent…un vrai test d’imperméabilité des souliers!
-Autres: j’ai joué avec des membres super gentils et aimables. Merci à Alain, Florence et Marielle pour la partie. .

Saw the course while riding down the gondola after a day hiking the TDM trail. Course looks nice and green with glacial creeks crossing several holes. I booked a time for the next day and reserved a set of clubs and a push cart. First thing to remember is the course is at elevation, around 5,000 feet so the ball will travel further. This is important because there are two creeks crossing the first fairway at about 255 yards out from the men's tee. I found out the hard way as I thought the creeks was out of my range only to watch helplessly as my first drive flew down the middle of the fairway took one bounce on the grass and disappeared from view. I found my ball sitting in the middle of the creek (yellow and orange Srixon Divide). If you see it there in the creek nestled in the rocks at the bottom of the icy water, you'll know who's ball that is. Anyway the course is beautiful, well maintained and fairly forgiving with wide fairways and nice greens. There is enough elevation, water and tree hazards to keep you on your toes. It is a very walkable course and was easy to traverse the 18 holes. Rental clubs were decent enough Taylormade QI10 irons and woods and putter. I bought two sleeves of balls and had a sleeve left after the round. Just pay attention to the creeks, you can't fish the balls out of them as the sides are very steep and gravelly. The nice view of Mt. Blanc and the surrounding peaks was awesome and course itself was in great shape. If you get the chance to play this course, do it. You won't regret it.

My friends and I were walking near the property when one of the staff members approached us and asked us to pay attention to the signs. While we were trying to understand the situation and ask for clarification, the staff member left without explaining further. We noticed there was only one sign, but it was positioned awkwardly, making it difficult to read as we walked by. The experience was confusing, and we would have appreciated clearer communication.

I walked in with no tee time since my phone was not working inside France. The staff could not have been more kind and helpful. They spoke English well.

They got me out right away with a rental set. The fees were reasonable.

The course was a bit soggy, but clearly had been well maintained. There are a couple of nice holes with elevated tee boxes.

Utrolig fin bane og raske greener. Proff klubb med alle fasiliteter. Fint å få med golftralle, men også mulig med golfbil.

Noe av det som gjorde banen ekstra bra var.

En aout, un ouvrier pulvérisait un pesticide sur les greens à proximité des joueurs. Aucune protection ni pour lui, ni pour les autres. Les risques encourus sont énormes pour toutes ces personnes si ce produit était dangereux.

Love this place. The golf course itself is good but I imagine rounds can be slow at peak times with lots of four balls. The driving range is good. The surroundings though make this a magical venue! Staff in the pro shop are very friendly too.
