An institution founded in 1856. We love the door handle in the shape of a Swiss, Valence's bonhomme-biscuit. Its beautiful downtown window opens onto the orange blossom scent of the two house specialties, the jewels of local delicacies: pogne and suisse, available in different sizes. Also available: chocolates, nougats, saint-genix, cakes, viennoiseries and a collection of breads... While nothing has changed in this ancestral store - and we're delighted about that - the house now has a modern little sister on the outskirts of Valence.

Là, c'est ce que j'appelle UNE BOULANGERIE PATISSERIE. Tout y est fait avec coeur et avec un grand sérieux de fabrication. Le(s) pain(s) bien évidemment mais surtout deux produits "phare", la Pogne et "la" spécialité valentinoise "Le Suisse". A découvrir et à déguster sinon, on a loupé quelque chose à Valence. Et si vous avez la chance d'entendre rire le patron "Denis", vous reviendrez obligatoirement ....

I find that it is " POGNE" not to be missed and competes with Novels and by far. The other products are good, Saint-Genix is excellent. For foodies, it is a place not to be missed.
The hand of " a Nivon" is known to compete with the hands of Novels. With no train station, do not hesitate to take a detour via this bakery for a small sin of greed.
