Read moreIts story began on the slopes of Lyon in 1982, when Father Emmanuel Payen set up the antenna of France's first free Christian radio station in the attics of the Fourvière basilica. Fourvière became RCF for Radios Chrétiennes de France, then Radios Chrétiennes Francophones, and has continued to expand its airwaves, giving rise to France's leading associative network. The local RCF Drôme station organizes round-table discussions on subjects of interest to more than just Catholics, and publishes a regional news bulletin.
