LA CHÈVRE BLANCHE

Once you've tasted fresh goat's milk cheese at a village inn, you can't stop there. On the Lalouvesc side of Satillieu, in the La Garenne district, you'll find Franck and Nathalie's goat farm, GAEC de la Chèvre Blanche. Here you'll find beautiful white goats, like Mr. Seguin's, that love to roam the mountains, and a range of matured and unripened cheeses, as well as fresh cheeses, including the mild caillé de Saint-Félicien, a local specialty with a strong following.
