There's no need to advertise picodon, the fine-tasting goat's cheese from the Ardèche. But have you heard of chevreton? Smaller, creamier, milder and less mature, it's ideal for cooking with goat's cheese. The Sagne-Rousseyre farm produces and sells these local specialties, as well as goat tommes and tommettes. Their herd of around 50 goats roams freely in the pastures of the Ardèche plateau. Direct farm sales in summer. Online sales also available.
