Discover the Vaucluse's rock wine vats, a unique winegrowing treasure in Venasque.

A dozen bories were discovered, sheltering rock wine vats. Similar vestiges were discovered in Portugal, but about 80 have been listed in the Vaucluse, in the Ventoux and Côtes du Luberon appellation terroirs. These installations, dug into the rock, consist of a treading basin communicating with a small basin used to collect the must. A long beam inserted above the basin is lowered by means of a screw.
