Installed in the middle of a small valley and surrounded by truffle oak trees, the vineyards of this estate are protected from the northern and southern winds. This natural characteristic ensures a perfect control of the environment on the three locals: fresh, sandy and chalky clay floors for the first one; shone upon and covered with rollers rolled of the other; red, calcareous clay and quartz for the last one. This estate of 25 ha is arranged into several grape varieties, Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan for the reds, Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier for the white. From there several vintages are manufactured, for instance, Côtes-du-Rhône wines Villages Visan and Valréas for the reds, CDR Visan for the white, expenses and complex, besides they have fruity flavours, aromatic and sometimes more specific. And during the truffles season, Bouchard's family invites you to come to bury (in a kind of cellar) the "rabasse" (black truffle).
