Belle découverte au hasard dans Vaison. L’ensemble est de qualité cuisine, cadre, personnel, des mets de qualités superbement préparés. On reviendra lors de notre prochain passage.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal here. We were a party of 6 with two children and they were very accommodating making up a children’s menu which was a small portion of a main course on the menu plus ice cream. The food was excellent, the dessert particularly. We chose the chocolate and it had a fondant, ice cream and mousse like a cloud!

We had a nice meal at Bateleur but nothing out of the ordinary. I had fish with potatoes in a mint/pea broth and my husband had veal with risotto and fresh peas, finishing with a cheese plate. There was only 1 server and she was running to keep up so service definitely suffered. For instance, the cheese plate was dropped on our table without any explanation of what each of the cheeses were; we figured it out but would have appreciated even a simple explanation. The prices are on the expensive side as we had 2 main courses, a cheese plate and 3 glasses of wine totalling €115.

Pourquoi aller dans un Étoilé quand on a le Bateleur près de chez soi ?! Cadre intimiste, qualité des ingrédients, beauté de le présentation et le goût bien sûr ! Un délice du début à la fin du repas !

This small restaurant located near the bridge Vaisons la Romaine is a good address. The welcome is very friendly, the cuisine excellent, beautiful presentation. Service a tiny long however... But this restaurant is worth the detour!
