The house is in the centre of the village and you can enjoy its small courtyard to enjoy breakfast in the sun. The house has been beautifully refurbished, keeping the beautiful things of the past like the wrought iron of the staircase. The rooms are large, as are bathrooms. The decoration is a joyful mix of exotic furniture and style armchairs. The colourful fabrics and paintings end up giving this little bohemian touch that makes you feel at home.

Una magnífica restauració de casa francesa típica, transformada en hotel! Decorada amb exquicitessa. Molta amabilitat del propietari. L'esmorzar complert i atent, servit per el mateix propietari. Suc de taronja acabat d'exprimir...pa de forn de pedra...iogout casolà. Molt ben situat al centre de Carcassonne i a un pas de la Cotxe. Sheilagh and Michael are lovely and make you really at ease!
They love to host people with bicycles and we really appreciated it!

I stayed at La Cour Carree for four wonderful nights in July; Shelagh and Mike were incredibly welcoming and friendly, always willing to help and recommend wonderful local restaurants. The house itself is beautiful, full of antiques from all corners of the world, and serene; rooms, while without air-con, were always clean and well-presented and the breakfast every morning (local pastries, homemade jam, yoghurt and fruit salad) was a definite highlight. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone as a base for exploring this stunning region. Thank you both (:
