A place where ochre dominates but theses little cabana of Le Clos are made of pinewood. And yes, the owners have scattered small houses in the property, so if you are an independence enthusiasts, it is an address for you. They do not have ancient charm but instead enjoy the ochre colours of Roussillon and the blue shutters. Families will benefit from the large suites with their two bedrooms and their kitchenette. Everyone can gather around the swimming pool under the shade of pool-house where breakfast is served.

We have returned post-Covid times to our favourite place in France — the Luberon in general and Le Clos des Cigales in particular. Simple, comfortable room (in our case) with little terrace facing lovely peaceful vista of pool and pine wood. Delicious simple breakfast served by ever-friendly owner Phillipe on communal terrace. Always successful recommendations for markets, restaurants & cafés, and morning or day trips. We have been often in the last twelve years or so. Thoroughly recommended.
