The Arc de Triomphe is an ancient monument to Roman-Provençal grandeur.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dating back to the 1st century, it was the city's main gate. Situated on Agrippa's Way and dedicated to the glory of the veteran founders of the Roman colony of Orange, this monument is an essential part of Romano-Provençal art. It is clearly visible from the top of the hill. On the attic, a battle scene is depicted between Roman cavalry and barbarians. On the side of the monument, sound seats tell the story of the legionnaires. The restoration of the monument in 2023 was particularly successful.

Magnifique monument antique très bien restauré. Attention, pas de parking car pour se garer à proximité. Seulement un parking voiture.

What a monument! Incredible! So old and always standing, and in very good condition! The square has just been redone, offering an even more sparkling Arc de Triomphe. Bravo to the city of Orange! Free and not to miss!

c'est un incontournable même si quand vous en avez fait un vous les avez fait tous. difficile d'y échapper, c'est l'étape de beaucoup de bus qui déversent leurs touristes pour des photos.

un superbe arc de triomphe, très imposant, et très bien conservé. se garer au pied car on trouve un parking juste devant gratuit. aller au pied bien l'observer. c'est magnifique et on se sent tout petit en dessous. de là quelques minutes suffisent pour rejoindre le théâtre antique à pied, c'est parfait. cet arc possède des décors bien conservés et complète la visite du théâtre.
