Seventeenth-century bastide set in lush greenery, with pure, monastic-style rooms, swimming pool, spa and treatments
In the heart of the Luberon, in a green setting, this 17th-century bastide embodies Provencal charm. Like the 10 other charming resorts in the Domaines de Fontenille collection, it has been tastefully restored to retain the authenticity of what was once a large family home. The rooms are simple, almost monastic. For relaxation and well-being, there's a swimming pool, spa and made-to-measure treatments. The table d'hôtes is locavore, with a unique menu that changes daily. Luxurious but not ostentatious.

Had the pleasure to stay at this wonderful place at the heart of Luberon. The Hotel its magnificent, the place itself, the crew, the breakfast, the cleanliness are all superb.
This is the ideal place if you want a perfect getaway in the Provence,
Perfect for couples. Its within a short drive from the most iconic villages and you can go for a jogging or a bike ride to the beautiful villages of Maubec and the old oppede, or just relax at the pool area.

Beautiful location and wonderful effort by the staff, but this is not a 5 star hotel and you can tell it was designed / build to specifically cater to an English speaking Instagram influencing community while being inspired by the Caudalie hotels. I frankly found it a overpriced for what it was and I paid approx USD $300 a night for a Monday / Tuesday.
Dining: limited selection in the area for dining given the remote geography. The onsite hotel has a fixed menu for dinner - zero options though is reasonable at 45 euro - see photo of the menu the night I was there.
Driving: The last mile is a challenging drive up a very steep, narrow and badly paved road with with no street lights (understandable given the remote location) but nonetheless makes it challenging to return after a day of visiting other villages / the surroundings.
Wifi: Also do not think you'll be able to work from here, the wifi is atrocious and there's very limited reception making hotspotting difficult.
Pros: That said, it is a beautiful location and beautifully designed and the staff are wonderful.

Excellente expérience lors d’un week-end en mai! On a l’impression d’être chez soi dans le Luberon.
La Bastide est magnifique, notamment la vue sublime sur les montagnes du Luberon depuis l’espace restaurant. La végétation est aussi tres belle.
La chambre Grand Deluxe est spacieuse et confortable.
Le personnel est très gentil et serviable, que ce soit à la réception ou au restaurant.
La Bastide est idéalement situé proche des plus beaux villages du Luberon qui sont tous facilement accessible en vélo électrique (dans un rayon de 30min). De très beaux chemins sont à découvrir juste à côté de la Bastide.
Mon seul commentaire d’amélioration est d’étoffer le buffet du petit déjeuner, notamment avec des options chaudes et cuisinées (omelette, crêpes…). Le buffet du petit déjeuner reste très bon malgré sa simplicité.

Un séjour exceptionnel dans un lieu incroyable. Les hôtes sont chaleureux, souriants, super sympas et aux petits soins.
Les chambres sont sublimes, à l’image du domaine tout entier.
Le petit déjeuner est délicieux, complet, varié, avec des produits de qualité. Nous avons pu dîner un soir sur place et le repas était super aussi.
Un véritable sans faute dans ce lieu fantastique que nous recommanderons !

Nous avons profité des cours de pilâtes et yoga, du bain nordique, du sauna, de la piscine,des massages …
Très beau cadre pour se reposer ou découvrir les alentours.
