The cherry season begins from mid-May to mid-July with different varieties such as Summit, Van, La Belge, Burlat... with nearly 2,700 hectares planted, Vaucluse remains the leading French cherry producer. The Calvas association in partnership with Cerise des coteaux du Ventoux organizes the traditional Cherry Fair. On the program throughout the day animations, educational farm, costumed characters, garage sale and raffle. Glass of friendship at 12pm and at 3pm contest to spit out nuclei with prize giving. Drink and fast food on site. Free admission.
