The Cauet patisserie-tea room was an institution (in Le Bugue in the Dordogne...) and a permanent source of pleasure for the eyes and the taste buds. Xavier is a master chocolate maker, ice-cream maker and pastry chef, he is also a specialist of walnut cake made with walnuts, coated with soft caramel in a melting shortcrust pastry.

une tuerie !
Surtout ne passez à Bugues sans goûter leurs croissants au beurre de baratte passionnément expliquée par la patronne du lieu , belle découverte qui à remué nos papilles avec ce goût d'antan que l'on trouve rarement même en Bretagne, un feuilletage parfait et l'odeur qui nous rappelle notre jeunesse digne "d'une madeleine de Proust" nous y sommes retourné le lendemain avant de partir. Le service est de qualité souriant et à l'écoute, on s'y s'en bien.nous leur souhaitons un long parcours...pour y retourner évidemment !!

J'ai découvert ce patissier par hasard .....et je trouve ses patisseries excellentes....l'été, c'est agréable de boire un café ou un thé sur la terrasse avec la vue sur la VEZERE
