Château in the heart of the garrigue, with splendid terraces and gardens that breathe Provence into Lauris.
Perched on the terraces of the Château de Lauris, overlooking the Durance valley, these conservatories have been awarded the " Jardin Remarquable" label. The tour takes visitors on an educational and bucolic journey, as they discover numerous varieties of plants with dyeing powers grown in Europe and on other continents, as well as a new arboretum dedicated to dyeing trees. Botanical leaflets provide information; garden seeds for sale in the store.

Les moins : prévoyez votre spray anti-moustiques.
Les choses à améliorer : manque de couleurs dans le jardin en fin de saison d'été (peu de plantes en fleurs et trop de vert, dommage), en termes de décoration la découverte du lieu pourrait être plus attractif en s'inspirant d'un jardin comme la "Bambouseraie d'Anduze". Les fiches plastiques des explications partent d'une bonne idée mais restent encombrantes, le digital serait une bonne alternative et créer des QR-codes seraient génial pour lire les étiquettes des plantes déjà présentes sur place.
Je reviendrai sans hésitations sur ce lieu avec ce genre d'améliorations, je souhaite une bonne continuation au jardin!!!
