Restaurant with terrace offering a plate elaborated with fresh and local products.

The Artegal has been run by a young couple, Sophie and Daniel, for 13 years now. When you are on the terrace, the view is breathtaking on the castle of Gordes! It's also located next to a shop that sells lavender, it smells good! The place seems at first glance quite simple, it looks like a bistro. But don't be mistaken, because the plate elaborated with fresh and local products is in fact rather bistronomic. The plate is very well presented and made by the 2 Nicolas. A beautiful discovery, an address that is worth the detour.

They served the best beef I ever ate. It was with beer and gingerbread and something sauce. Based on older photos, it seems the menu has changed.

Plus rien a voir avec la cuisine de l ancien propriétaire dont le menu etait sur une ardoise des plats simples mais très bons maintenant menu en plastique plats sans aucune saveur une tonne de salade mal assaisonnée on oublie

Une étoile car je ne peux pas mettre moins. Accueil déplorable, nous avons préféré ne pas rester vue la manière dont nous avons été reçues. Visiblement la serveuse ou patronne semble croire qu'elle a construit le village. Elle nous aura fait économiser 15€.

We went here for lunch on a sunny day. It was good. The food was ok, but nothing out of this world. They have a menu option for a descent price for Gordes. I wasn’t a big fan of the food I ate, but it wasn’t bad.
