The museum is housed in a mansion that houses three collections assembled under the impetus of Marc Deydier, a notary from Cucuron.

Housed in the handsome 17th-century Hôtel de Bouliers, this small museum presents three collections assembled under the impetus of Marc Deydier (1845-1920). This Cucuron notary was an enthusiast for prehistory, ethnology and photography. Nearly 3,000 plates collected by his heirs bear witness to the festivities and major events of his era: bear shows, fêtes des champs and even the Paris-Rome airplane race! The rooms on the upper floors are mainly devoted to rural life, with reconstructions of a Provençal kitchen or a 1900 classroom with its traditional Epinal images. They also house important local archaeological relics, such as a graffito from a 3rd-century AD merchant ship, or the remains of a mausoleum belonging to Roman notables.
