Spacious rooms and ultra-modern gite with terrace in Cucuron.

Halfway between Cucuron and Ansouis, a farmhouse of the eighteenth century planted on a property of 15 acres in the heart of the vineyards with views of the Luberon. The rooms with suggestive names (Lavande, Tournesol and Romarin) have each an independent entrance and a terrace. Spacious, they are decorated in the colour in relation to the name of the plant. The owners, Florence and Claude, have built an ultra modern cottage for 2 people. The stylish room, the brandnew kitchen, the white soft sofa will undoubtedly convince you. Swimming pool and barbecue can also take part in the conviviality of your stay.

Nous recommandons vivement cette chambre d’hôtes. L’accueil de Florence et Claude est formidable. Ils sont de très bons conseils sur les visites à effectuer dans la région ainsi que les restaurants. La chambre est au top ainsi que les petits déjeuners de Florence. Nous avons hâte d’y retourner prochainement.

We didn't see much of mine hostess, but when we did she was very pleasant, as was her son(?)who showed us around when we arrived. The air bnb part of the building was smallish, chic and very comfortable to be in. The wifi was incredibly unreliable and frustrating. The views were delightful. The surrounding countryside and towns/villages were marvellous. The markets were, amazingly, all different. Other places in France we've been, the markets just transfer from place to place. Not here, each market was different, we only saw one repeat trader in four markets. The restaurants in the local towns are a must....go to Loumarin. A thorough delight.

Wir haben hier 4 wunderschöne Tage verbracht, um die Gegend um Cucuron und den Luberon zu erkunden. Eine sehr nette und aufmerksame Gastgeberin, Florence, die uns jeden Morgen freundlich zum Frühstück begrüßt hat und uns den ein oder anderen wertvollen Tipp zur Umgebung gegeben hat. Die Lokation liegt inmitten von Wein-, Oliven- und Obstgärten, die z.T. von der Gastgeberfamilie bewirtschaftet werden. Man kann den örtlichen Wein auch direkt dort beziehen. Man kann hier wunderbar die ländliche Ruhe genießen. Die Örtlichkeit eignet sich auch gut als Ausgangspunkt für Rad-Touren.
