Once the home of the Castillon family, lords of Cucuron, it took five years of restoration to give it back its letters of nobility. A young artist has signed the decoration, the vintage rubs shoulders with the contemporary. The rooms are cosy nests. We loved the spa in the rocky cavity of the basement, the whirlpool bath and the sauna for an absolute well-being break. A patio and the surrounding countryside. To eat without going out, on site at Moris.

La Maison d'En Bas des Seigneurs is a hotel located a stone's throw from the Donjon Saint-Michel, in the old residence with a Renaissance façade of the Castillon family, lord of Cucuron. The building was fitted out by a young talent from the Beaux-Arts school of Paris who knew how to marry contemporary design to its rustic side with the predominance of stones and wood. The establishment offers different categories of luxurious and comfortable suites (air conditioning, wifi connection, mini bar and safe). Each of them has a unique decor, but with a common signature: exposed beams. The Spa area, located in the rocky basement, is an intimate place for relaxation: whirlpool bath with water jet and waterfall, sauna, massage and modeling sessions upon reservation. The establishment is close to many activities (water sports, hiking, museum, wine tasting, etc.).

The location is tranquil and well worth the effort of hauling up your luggage (since driving directly to the front of the hotel is not possible).
The restaurant is also delicious. Even if you don't eat there, you'll enjoy the smell of their food wafting into the courtyard.
I feel I should warn the internet is spotty. For me... looking to get away that was ok. However, it is something to be mindful of.
