In 1898, Alfred Jamet, winegrower and blacksmith, became owner of the Clos Val'Aouri estate and acquired parcels of vines in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape area. Today, the torch is passed on to Eric and his daughter Léa, who wish to perpetuate the family values. They manage the land and have also created the Caves Jamet denomination, Le Sang du Peuple, a must-have cuvée. The wines most deserving of attention are Sang du Peuple, Signature and Cuvée Jamet.
