CHÂTEAU DE NALYS
In 2017, Marcel and Philippe Guigal acquired Château de Nalys, charmed by its terroirs and prestigious four-century history. On arrival, you'll be given a booklet so you can visit the estate on your own. All 13 grape varieties authorized in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation are grown on the 60-hectare vineyard. Signs explain the specific characteristics of each grape variety. Inside, the small museum showcases old wine-making machinery. You'll end up in the 18th-century cellar, where the wine is aged for months in tuns.
