Romanesque chapel located at the bottom of the village, the only religious building dedicated to Saint Theodorit in Châteauneuf-du-Pape

This small Romanesque chapel is set at the bottom of the village. The tombs found in the cemetery that bordered its sides indicate that it is probably the oldest building in the city and especially the starting point of the surrounding buildings. Fragments of a medieval decor were updated during its restoration in 1984. Finally, it is the only one dedicated to Saint Théodoric in the department. He was also the Patron Saint of the village until 1892.
