Read moreIt was on the initiative of a local goldsmith and notable local, Jean Boyer, this alley was converted in 1848 into a walkway covered with iron and glass hence its nickname: "the glass street." The ground floor is a succession of small clothing stores, shoes and accessories. We like the old tailor and the shoes with Italian brands. A double row of buildings in regular order. It is located in the city center, close to the halls. Worthy of the Italian Bologna, these halls are an obligatory passage in Carpentras. One will equally find a very good fishmonger, a gardener, a tea room, a bakery and an excellent library.
