Superb 12th century building nestled in the Combe de Lourmarin offering breakfasts with home-made or organic products

La Ressence has an incredible charm. Françoise and Thierry have renovated this superb 12th-century building nestled in the Combe de Lourmarin. The rooms are bright and spacious, beautifully decorated and well appointed with en-suite bathrooms. Breakfasts are made with homemade or organic products. You can also take advantage of the swimming pool. For dinner, Françoise can prepare plates of fine charcuterie and cheeses. This old-fashioned place is magnificent, surrounded by vegetation, close to the village of Lourmarin.

Une très jolie bâtisse, aménagée avec goût, et une hôte très accueillante, tout ce dont on avait envie pour ce week-end !
Le cadre est très beau, et c'était un plaisir de profiter de prendre notre petit déjeuner dehors. Merci pour ce joli moment, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Highly recommend staying here. Françoise is a fantastic host. She is warm and welcoming and handles everything so well. Her breakfasts alone are worth the price of the stay - pastries, ham, a variety of jam, cereal and yoghurt, freshly made tea/coffee and freshly squeezed juice… I look forward to breakfast every morning! The place itself is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, with a big and comfortable bed. The toilet is well-equipped with fluffy towels, soaps and even a hairdryer. There is a quaint pool and a huge garden you can chill at or have a meal on , and sometimes her dog and cat will join (and they’re so adorable). There is parking on-site and the place is a short drive away from two towns and really good hiking trails. A wonderful stay!
