Created in 1933 by the will of four young people with polio and eager to break the chains of exclusion, the Paralysés Association of France (APF) aims to guarantee everyone access to fundamental rights in an egalitarian manner and to the exercise of citizenship. APF allows paralyzed people to benefit from advice and training to enter professional life and participate in activities outside the family circle. Throughout the year, events and meetings are organized under its leadership.
