This approach combines creativity and dynamism but also mastery of marketing and management techniques. Created in 2000 on the initiative of the Vaucluse Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Actia (Association of Technical Coordination for the Food Industry) and the Technopole Agroparc, it has now become indispensable. Seven awards reward the winning teams: gold, silver, bronze, "fruit and vegetables", special mention, "Bernard Loiseau" prize and "marketing and communication" prize. In 12 years, more than 250 food products were produced in this competition, 25 of which were the subject of marketing at the national level. Thus, within 4 250 m 2 of premises (including 2 000 m 2 dedicated to workshops) in the centre of Technopôle's Technopole, students are attending courses specialized in electrical engineering, mechanics, design, industrial computing, automation and sales of technical products. CFAI 84 offers state-recognised diplomas (BTS Industrial Maintenance, BTS Industrial Products Design…) or, since 2001, by CNAM (Engineer Engineering Industry).
