Built in 1979, it opened in 1981. It is therefore quite normal that the original building should have undergone a major renovation recently. Completely redesigned, huge work has been added (the mega lobby is a real technical feat). For years the establishment has been putting on new technologies: Extra MRI, ambulatory surgery, extension of resuscitation service, installation of PET Scan in nuclear medicine service… Maternity has also been completely redone with more individual care of patients. Cardiology, cancer, external consultations of surgery and ent… Not forgetting an emergency service of real effectiveness. While the hospital has just opened - in conjunction with Montfavet Hospital - a short-term psychiatric care unit (72 h), there is also a new ambulatory surgery unit.
